CANTABURY
Canterbury Cathedral: Canterbury is England's ecclesiastical capital. Beckett's Shrine in the Cathedral became the goal of the 'Canterbury Pilgrims' and the town prospered on this early form of tourism.
LEEDS CASTLE
Leeds Castle, "the loveliest castle in the world," is set in the middle of a lake and surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. It became know as Lady's Castle, because of the number of Queens of England who lived there.
DOVER
Dover Castle: No fortress in England can boast a longer or richer history than Dover Castle. With its commanding position above the White Cliffs of Dover, it has been a strategic military site since Roman times.
